Our family loves cheese. You can pretty much put cheese on anything and my kids will eat it….and so will I. Sadly, many cheeses have a bunch of different ingredients in them that just are not necessary or good for my family’s bodies.
We have been really intentional over the past year in watching what goes into our bodies and reading labels. We have made it a priority to be more active and eat better. I have realized how much this has changed our overall health and energy level. Arla has made this so much easier.
Arla cheese is free of all artificial flavors, preservatives and added hormones.
* No significant difference has been shown between milk derived from rBST treated and non-rBST treated cows.
Arla foods is the 4th largest dairy company in the world and 0wned by dairy farmers. So, their products are farm-to-fridge with simple ingredients.
For this campaign, Arla asked a group of children to imagine and draw ingredients that are commonly found in dairy products, like Xanthan, rBST and Sorbic Acid.” So, I asked my 2 older boys to draw these ingredients and this is what they came up with:
They drew Xantham and rBST. They described their ingredients to me as alive, growing ingredients that are not safe to touch. Sounds scary. I myself don’t really know what these ingredients are, but their imaginations might not be far from the truth.
Our family loves cream cheese on a bagel for breakfast or an easy snack. Arla cream cheese really does taste amazing. I asked my kids what they thought about it and they said this was the best cream cheese they ever had and even requested two bagels covered in it the first day I brought it home.
We look forward to trying out Arla’s great variety of cheese slices in the near future.
Make sure you check out Arla’s website to learn more about the company, see all the products they offer and watch a short video of two children creating the campaign.
We are trying to live unprocessed, is this important to you ??
